I've always worn my thick, poofy, blonde hair long and all one length. But I'm going into high school next year and I want to change things up a bit. I want a haircut that will make my hair thinner and less poofy. I was thinking long layers but I don't know if that will make my hair thinner or thicker. Any suggestions?

Oh and I want to keep it the same length. It goes down a little past my chest.

My friends and I are going shopping soon to get cute outfits to wear on our last day of school, and from school we're going to the beach. I was think either a cute skirt with a pretty top or a dress. Ok sooo I have my first formal dance coming up in June (I'm 14) and I'm wondering what type of eye shadow I should use. My dress is blue, my accessories silver, and I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. I want to go easy on the make-up, so I'm just wearing some foundation, pressed powder, and mascara. But I also want to wear eye shadow so I was wondering 1.) what the best color for me would be 2.)what brand you would suggest (I can't get anything too expensive, something in the CoverGirl range) and 3.) the best way to apply it. I always have short nails because I bite them but I have a formal dance coming up in one month and I want to grow my nails out so I can get a french manicure for it. So I've stopped biting my nails but as soon as they grow out the a decent length, they break on their own. Is there some type of (cheap) product I can buy that will make them stronger and more likely to grow out faster???

Ok so recently I've become really good friends with this girl Allie. The problem is, Allie has always been bffs with a girl named Chelsea. But Allie doesn't really like Chelsea that much because she is always mean to her and starting drama. So as me and Allie become good friends, her and Chelsea are drifting farther and farther apart. I always thought me and Chelsea were friends, but now I hear that she's super pissed about Allie and I become good friends and that she keeps bad-mouthing me. And also this boy Randy just asked me to go to a dance wth him and I said yes, but now all of a sudden I found out that Chelsea has a huge crush on Randy! So maybe this girl has reason to hate me, I've stolen her bff and her crush, but I never meant to! I don't know what to do. I want to be friends with Chelsea, and she acts like we are friends to my face, but I know that she actually doesn't like me. I'm so frustrated because it feels like as I get a new friend, I get a new enemy. I don't know what to do! Please help!

So next year is I'm going to be a freshman in high school and I'm super excited. There will be so many new people for me to meet and become friends with. My issue is, I'm not great at making friends. I'm sort of shy and I have a hard time trusting people and becoming close to them. I want to get over that. I have a few close friends from middle school that I will probably stay close with in high school, but I also want to become friends with new people. They seem pretty cheap, like four bucks, so I'm wondering if they don't even really work that well. Do you think they're ok to use instead of make-up?
