Ipod Touch- 3rd Gen or 2nd Gen?

I'm getting a used Ipod Touch and I'm finding 3rd Generation's and 2nd Generation's. What is the difference between these two versions? Which one is better? Thanx!!! :)

    Third generation has better interiors. Better hardware. But if you're buying a new one, wait a few months and buy the Fourth Generation. It will be even better than the 3rd Gen. I made the mistake of not waiting, and my iPod tech is two years old now. And I'm really feeling it. If you don't want to wait though, seriously get the 3G.

    3rd gen is improved (in terms of hardware) in everyway. Its faster, can run games better and more software works in it

    nothing really to be honest. apple released a few bug fixes for the safari and wifi connection so i would choose the 3g but 2g wouldnt harm anything either. the only reasone i wuld choose the 3g is because it is newer.
