Who sponsored the 9/11 attacks?

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed came up with the plan and presented it to Osama bin Laden in '96. Bin Laden provided financing and leadership, and was involved in selecting hijackers.

Both men have admitted their roles.

The mainstream belief is that Osama Bin Laden and Al'Queda was behind it. Some people blame the US Government and Bush for it. I don't buy that anyone in the US government knew what was going to happen. The big problem with the government theory is IF the government knew about it, you would HAVE to blame Clinton not Bush. Why? Clinton was President when the 911 terrorists came to America, he was President when they got their pilot training, he had the chance 3 times to capture Bin Laden but didn't. If anyone in the US is to blame for 911 it would be Clinton.

Al Queda/Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Who exactly funds them remains to be seen, they have cells all over the world and many extremist groups who share their beliefs aid them I'm sure.

Well, there is the theory that the U.S. government did know about it and let it happen, or arranged it. But the "mainstream" answer is that Bin Laden was behind it. Hussein was still head-of-state in Iraq at the time.

Al Queda, headed by Osama Bin Laden. Saddam Hussein was on the run or captured at the time, and had nothing to do with it.

The first time a president or vice president has ever taken over NORAD (made in the 50's) was 2 weeks before 9/11. Dick cheney (bushes 3rd cousin) ordered all jets to stand down, instead of takeing out the planes.

Another thing to look up is Norman mineta hearing dick telling people to stand down. DONT BELIVE ME LOOK INTO IT YOUR SELF!! I know its hard to grasp, it was hard for me to. No one wants to belive that there govt killed 3000 of its own people to go to war and fill there pockets with money, i know it sounds crazy but its the truth.

They said they never could imagen planes flying into buildings for a weapon, what lies they wear training for it in peticular, training for planes flying into the wtc and the pentagon.
