Picking new hair color?
I have what they would consider 'light ash brown' hair color and would like to go to the shade that my hair is when it is wet (thought that might be relevant) which is considered dark ash brown. As far as the rules of hair coloring goes, would this be considered reasonable?

Absolutely. This would only be 2-3 shades darker. If you have never tinted your hair before, start with a semi permanent color. This will slowly fade within 6-8 weeks, and is far less damaging. This is a great way to take hair color for a "test drive" before you commit to a permanent tint! Make sure you purchase a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair to keep your hair in great condition.
Happy tinting!

i have similar hair color and dying it the color it looks when it is wet is totally reasonable and is best bc you can take your pic with your hair wet and bring it to the salon or drugstore, depending on how you plan on coloring your hair.

your hair can be dyed no matter what color it is. just go to perfered "at home" dye go to:
Super store
london drugs
shoppers drug mart
enless you deside to dye it at a salon. darker brown is totally possible so go for it!

yes its possible,my suggestion is in picking the color try to get a lower oxidizing lotion with the color that you choose, because the higher the oxidizing lotion it has,it tend to make it much brighter in effect, and since you already colored your hair it can absorb color much faster, and lower oxidizing much safer to hairs.good luck peace
