Can you answer this please?

Is there anything in that story that requires God to make woman with the same number of ribs that he had made man with? He could have made her with one less rib so she matched the way the man was then. You can't use logic to argue against this sort of thing. Just ignore them.

God took a rib from Adam, not from all of the men in the world to make Eve. They weren't even created yet. The rest of mankind, men and women are from Adam and Eve. God uses men and women to procreate people.

God made Eve by taking a rib of Adam, that means Adam lost one of his ribs to make woman. When God made her, he made her like man only with a change in sex.

men and women both have 24 ribs - 12 on each side. The first seven pairs of ribs are connected to the sternum (breast bone). Rarely, some pople have one more or less pairs of ribs due to various genetic mutations.

I think the story is not literal but allegorical just to show that eve came from adam. The rib thing is only a way for this concept to be understandable to people for whom this story was written.

I'm an athiest, but this is dumb. Go take out a rib, your kids will have 24 or w/e they have n stuff. And women were made out of the ribb (apparently, but its really crap loool) soo they will have 24 also, their head and brain was made of rib. thats why Eve was tempted. she really likes ribs, so when Satan was like "I has ribs if u et diz appluhlz" eve was like "oh hell yayuh"
