ok, im 16, and ive got a lump on my left testicle. ive had it for years but suddenly it started hurting and getting bigger? do i need to get it checked?

It is sensible to get anything you are concerned about checked.

Usually Testicular cancers involve the swelling of one entire testicle, not just a bump on the testicle. You should still get this checked by your doctor though.

It could just be a cyst. You should search 'testicular cysts' on google to look at the different types of cysts to see if the one you have could be one. It could be cancer but it probably isn't. I would definitely go to the doctor to be sure.

yes you should get it checked i highly doubt it is cancer but u could ha a STD or some other infection i wouldn't worry too much
