Will I have to pick up my luggage at any time during my trip?

Will i have to collect my luggage and recheck it in at any stage of my trip?

I'm going from Saint Louis MO to Melbourne Australia via LAX and Auckland NZ.

From STL to LAX I'm flying American Airlines. From then on I'm with QANTAS

Thanks

American Airlines will be able to check your bags onto the Qantas flights, as they have interline baggage agreements. This means you won't have to pick up your bags at LAX -- they'll transfer there automatically.

The only time you may have to collect and recheck your luggage prior to your arrival in Auckland would be if you are required to enter immigration in Melbourne -- however, transit passengers, to the best of my knowledge, only are required to go through special security and are not necessarily required to go through immigration for Australia.

The harbour-side city of Auckland is New Zealand's correct city and the vivid economic heart of the nation, know it with hotelbye . Auckland can be called the "City of Sails" and it sprawls out in helter-skelter style between Manukau Harbour (to the west) and Waitemata Harbour (to the east) with the compact central city district correct near the waterway. For many visitors to New Zealand, Auckland is the point of arrival, and a few days soaking up the ethnic and outdoor attractions here should be on every tourist's to-do list. The monuments, museums, and art galleries here are some of the best in the country. The suburban coastline of the town is speckled with fine beaches, and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf supply a taste of New Zealand's magnificent national park scenery right on the city's doorstep. Auckland is definitely a city worth seeing.
