How can I go to palistine and help the wounded?
I'm a care assistant in an old peoples home and i think that my experience of the care of the people there could be put to good use abroad in a place such as Palestine (or where ever there is a humanitarian crisis) that need people to work in the hospitals there to dress wounds, wash people, apply first aid, assist nurses etc. I would not mind paying to get there, sooo...
1) What organisations do this? (if any)
2) Should I start saving, and if so how much?
Remember, I'll go anywhere!
Thanks very much!

A good answer from Tilt. The biggest problem you would face is getting there. To even get to the West Bank or Gaza is neigh on impossible if you have any sympathies for the Palestinian cause. Remember Israel are not a democracy as we all know it. They are a regime who will not tolerate anything that may be even considered anti Jewish. I wish you the best of luck but please don't too much help in your generous quest
