why do people hate....?
Why do people hate redheads? Okay, okay, it's a different hair colour, people are just jealous, okay. But, especially to those with said prejudice, why are people with red hair so disliked? Are these people seriously going to meet three redheads, and then generalize about everyone else? Please, sound off on why you like or dislike red heads. (this includes a requirement of intelligent answers)
allow me to clarify, I was slightly venting with this one, so not everyone hates redheads. I've noticed, as Misty mentioned a trend in hating redheads. It's fascinating, and I have seen some pretty intense rants about redheads, as well as experienced a few pretty brutal comments, with some (redheaded) friends receiving more. I just wonder what drives this trend. Could it be that society needs an underdog?

It's just hopping on the bandwagon. People are pack animals. Lately, this has been popular. It will fade. I have noticed minorities have really embraced this. Go figure.

I actually never heard prejudice against redheads before. Yes, the occasional "ginger" joke is said and gets a big laugh but I've never heard of someone legitimately hating people because of their hair color... that's strange and ridiculous.
To answer your question, I won't say I like someone or dislike someone because of their hair color. I would need to know them personally first.

I honestly don't know and have never heard of this. I don't have anything against redheads. My sister has naturally auburn/red hair, and she's not a whore. She has quite a few friends and I've never really heard anyone say bad things about her...but, maybe society has changed. Maybe it's Lindsay Lohan's fault.

I don't know what they're talking about, natural redheads are attractive (in my experiences anyway). I guess it's because they're rare, but when ya see them, ohh man.
I don't exactly know why someone would hate, or be hated for that matter, for something as unimportant as hair color. It's weird. I'm sorry, but my answer can't get any more intelligent than wondering why someone would hate....

I dont get the redhead hate.. some people look good with it, and some people dont, just like any other hair color on people.

Like. I am best friends with a readhead dude, and good friends with two other read heads lol. This is nothing to worry about, Where are you getting this idea that people hate red heads? Maybe you just haven't met the right friends I guess haha.

I think some girls with red hair can be very pretty, however, red headed guys i am not attracted to AT ALL, but that's just me lol, i have only met one decent looking red headed guy who's hair was straight, most of the guys has this nasty curly mess going on

I like redheads... redheaded guys are sexy... ps I have a reddish hue to my hair especially in the sunlight :)

I think readheds that I've met had a rough look about thier faces. Plus, they are sooo white. The guys don't seem right. Although I did see a red headed couple in college one time and they weren't ugly, but they just looked demonic together or something strange. Sorry.
