Will you help me with this outfit?

Question

Okay so not too long ago my mom got me this really cute dress from Hollister.
The dress was like 40+ dollars and I haven't worn it yet.
It just sits in my closet. :(
I feel really bad because she keeps saying, have you worn it yet?
The only problem is, it's really short and idk what to wear with it.
It's about thigh level and if I bend over it is most likely going to show my, you know.
So when I do wear it, I need something to wear under it.
But idk what. Will you help me?

The only problem is I'm not a legging person, so no leggings.
So please, please, please, help me! I really want to show my mom that I appreciate it and everything she does for me!

hey i have that dress!
try mid thigh length jean shorts or maybe a petticoat-ish puffy skirt under it
or if it is a cool day you can try wearing medium wash skinny jeans under it (thats what i usually do since its pretty cold where i live)

I don't know Heaps about fashion but from a guys perspective I think Jean shorts would go well with that dress. Not short shorts but just normal length jean shorts. Hope this helps!

That dress is gorgeous! I would say tights then if your not into leggings? or dark wash skinny jeans? Also wear with some bangles and hoop earrings to make this outfit ready for a night out

Either a black linen skirt. You can purchase cute ones at Old Navy.  Or a pair of jean shorts, skirt, or skinny pants.

you could just wear like a pair of (short) nuetral or similarly colored to the dress soffees so when you bend over at least thats all anyonw would see at the dress still looks cute

i suggest flare jeans with high top converse like a light blue at the top of the jeans and dark at the bottom and bright colored converse
