    This is what I found...

How can I make a cake from a brownie mix?

Q: I have two boxes of brownie mix. I want to make a cake .Is there any way I can do this with the brownie mixes and add something more to it. I was on your site a few days back I had thought I found something about how to do mixes of this and that into cakes and other things. Do you have a site of that kind?

A: Yes, it is possible to make a cake using a brownie mix, although the cake will be much denser than the average butter cake. Simply add an extra egg more per brownie mix then is called for, and use cold water if the mixes call for hot water. Extra ingredients such a a cup of miniature chocolate chips or chopped nuts can be added for additional flavor and texture. For best results, bake the cake in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, don't attempt to make it a layer cake. Frost your "brownie cake" when completely cooled.

When using a cake mix to make brownies, the most common mistake is to bake them too long. The longer you bake them, the more cake-like they become. Interestingly, I was just reading about this a few days ago, but I can't remember which cookbook I have that actually had the info.

They are not brownie Cake mixes they are just Borwnie Mixes.

I am sure there is a way but you have to add extar stuff and so on.

Mix it up and pit in the bottom of a 9x13 pan (if it is suposed to go in an 8x8) or spread it out on a baking tray with sides. Bake and cool, then fill with a no bake cheese cake filling.

Yes, add another egg, some extra milk and 1 tsp baking powder. Beat until the consistence of a cake mix adding more milk if necessary. Bake until done (toothpick)
