When I was a Christian I did have doubts and many things I didn't agree with. As a result, I no longer identify with any religion. However, I do know Christians who have faith in God, Jesus, Christian teachings, etc. and who have doubts yet they are still believers and faithful to their religion.

I think you misunderstand the nature of the Christian faith and belief and truth.

Christianity isn't like a political party platform where you say "I like the Republicans on taxes and defense, but I don't like them on Immigration." Christianity is like the theory of Special Relativity where you say "Wow, this is obviously true! I don't understand all of it, but what I do understand makes perfect sense, and it fits what I know about how the universe works."

Now, if I were making up a religion to suit my own personal tastes, would I make up Christianity? Probably not. It can be very very hard at times to be a Christian. But how I feel about it is no more relevant than if I prefer the theory of luminiferous eather to the theory of Relativity. The Gospel's happened, same as the Third Punic War and the Fall of Constantinople. That's just a fact. There is way to much evidence supporting it to seriously and honestly dispute it.

The question, in fact the only question that matters in our lives, is how we decided to deal with those facts.

Nope.. I don't doubt it because ive seen Gods promises come to pass, and not agreeing with it would completely contradict the whole belief.. Your going to have to try harder than that if you want to get questions stirred up... But whats funny is what im pretty sure you believe, has been proven wrong.. not what I believe in.

I dont like the way that i am told to follow 1 EXACT certain way of thinking. So say i beleive that (for example) i dont beleive in the holy trintity, i dont want to be forced to believed that, i wish to think of things the way i want to following the lines of general christianity.

Are you trying to implant doubt in their minds about Christianity? Good for you.

If marijuana became legalized in this country, I'm not so sure I wouldn't smoke it again, on this side of my faith......oh yeah, artistically speaking, of course.
