my son who is 4 has this non stop cough and he has a strong prescription?
of cough med. but is not working can any 1 give me some help so he wont puke again?
i gave him a spoon full of honey and it helps for about 5 min but it just wont stop ahhhhh any thing pls and thx

He could possibly have cough variant asthma. I sometimes have problems with it. I'll cough non stop, its a dry unproductive cough, nothing comes up and it doesnt always include wheezing. Its really irritating. Twice its been bad to where i'm coughing non stop to the point I start gagging.
Inhaling steam might help him. Have him put his head right over some hot steaming water and cover his head and the bowl, or whatever you use, with a big towel and inhale the steam. Hopefully this will help until he can see a doctor

properly i had an exceedingly undesirable cough at college and became wheezing so i went to the nurse she pronounced tell ur mom to take u 2 the physician. So she incredibly did take me. the physician instructed me that I truthfully have this little cough so she has to breath interior the bronchial asthma medicine/device for a whilst and after thet she gave me a perscribtion that asserts i had 2 get a pump and take it and now i do take it and it makes me experience extra useful. or you additionally can tke cough drops. communicate 2 ur physician!!!! solid success!!!!
