What are the 2 best Disney theme parks to visit?
I have a 12 year old daughter and a 3 year old (turning 4 in December) and I wanted to know what's the best place to go to. My daughter (12) is into theater and she likes moderate thrill rides. My younger daughter is in her princess phase. We've never been to Disney and would like to get the whole experience. Also, my daughter is interested in the whole Epcot theme and she'll be inviting a friend so she can do thrillish rides. Also, my 3 year old wants to go on all the rides and since she;s tall (36 cm) I was wondering if she could go most rides. We'll only have 2 days and want to go in the best time from now to December. Also what are the names of the hotel on Disney property? (Moderate to Low prices?) Thank you soo much!

What great ages to take your children to Disney World!!! You will have a blast watching them enjoy the Disney Magic.
Considering the ages of your children I would suggest Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Magic Kingdom appeals to the kid in all of us (including adults). I love the architecture, parades, rides and FIREWORKS!!! Due to height requirements, your younger child might not be able to ride on some of the roller coasters. Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, Small World, Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise are all great family rides (there are others).
EPCOT will appeal more to your older child, but there are many family rides too. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Space Ship Earth, The Seas, The American Adventure all great family attractions, Soaring and Test Track might have height restrictions. Food is great in China (Ginger Ice Cream makes my mouth water - trust me). Go early and stay late.
Best time of year? I like the week following Thanksgiving. Small crowds, and Holiday decorations are in place. Generally, weather is good too, not too hot - not too cold. Due to smaller crowds it is easier to get into attractions. Parks are open longer on Friday and Saturday, but slightly more people. Sometimes they have deals on the Meal Plan at that time of the year.
Disney has a great web site, check it out in advance. You can order maps ahead of time. Study them so you know where you are going. If your only going for two days, choose the quick service meal plan (counter service). Reservations are not needed and you will have plenty of food. The sit down meal is too hard with small children, reservations are required at the sit down meal.
Stay at one of the value resorts. Even though it is a "value" resort it is very nice. Room size is generally the same at all resorts, the only difference is decor. You are only at the hotel for a short period of time. Spend the extra on a preferred room (closer to the front of the resort and won't have to walk so much). Pop Century, Music, Movies and Sports. Check pricing on each as they will fluctuate. Seriously, all "value" resorts are very nice!!!
Have fun with your children!!!

Definitely the Magic Kingdom has the most to offer. Then I'd say Epcot would be the other park to choose. Disney's Hollywood Studios is great too & has great shows for younger kids too, but you only have time for 2 parks. You can skip Animal Kingdom. There's a lot of walking & not as much to do. We've been to all 4 of the value resorts & have enjoyed staying at all of them. The Pop Century is the newest & has it's own bus. The All Star resorts share a bus, so it takes longer to get around. The All Star Movies has some great icons where you can get some great photos, but the Pop Century has some cool ones too. Have Fun!

just to let you know, most of the people answering aren't reading your question. you want to go to DISNEY parks, those include epcot, magic kingdom, animal kingdom, typhoon lagoon/blizzard beach (Waterparks), and hollywood studios. I would suggest magic kingdom ( but you will not be able to do everything in one day, but if you stay on property then check with the hotel and they will tell you what park is open late on the nights you are staying. say it is magic kingdom, you can go there all day, go back to the hotel and rest for a bit, and head back out for less crowds as it is only open to those staying on property). make sure to do the pin trading ( you can buy pins in bulk online, try ebay, and then pick up a lanyard and your kids can trade away at disney)
a great resort is the french quarters!

Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios is a 2 for 1 deal so I also go for that and there's always Magic Kingdom. But Islands of Adventure has GREAT attractions for everyone!

For the younger one, Magic Kingdom would be best. For the older one, MGM would be good.
