I dont get it at all!?

Question

We all know the great sport Football or soccer here in the USA
but i recently moved to the US from Asia

Asia is always hyped to watch football
but in America, not so much
   -----however, i know sooo many people in the USA who play football even in Amer. Football states
-------but yet why is Amer. Football and NBA still topping most sports fans in USA

the USA football team is now pretty good, and is getting better, yet USA citizens still would rather watch NBA or NFL or etc.

so if there are so many football supporters in the USA, why is NFL/NBA still topping football?

You know what's ironic? Supposedly, the US doesn't like soccer as big as their mainstream sports. Yet, the US has the most people who bought tickets for South Africa out of ALL other countrys' spectators. Specifically 200,000 people. 

See, just because Soccer isn't as famous as Football or Basketball, doesn't mean it's not famous. Soccer has an underground following, as it's a sport anybody can play. That's why it has it's following with a certain group of people. Soccer is growing as evident also with the fact 200,000 people from this country alone bought tickets.

Some people find it boring, not enough action going on I guess. I think it comes from all the blow-ups that are on t.v now and days. What gets me is people will watch a car go around in circles for hours on end or watch a 9 ending game of baseball, but these same people don't want to watch soccer,because it's too boring. @~@

There are more NFL and NBA supporters in general. People in America find it more entertaining I suppose...
