Revamping couch cushions?
I have a couch where my dog has destroyed all the cusions on it. It's a three seater with recliners on both ends. How easy or hard would it be to make new cushions for this couch rather than buying a whole new couch? I'd prefer not to buy one until I know it won't be destroyed again.
How would I go about changing the seats for this couch when the cushions don't just come out...they're are more a part of the couch...? Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

The entire couch will have to be professionally reupholstered. The cushions are part of the construction.
Minimum $700 in labor, plus the cost of materials, which could be another $500, minimum. Get a new couch and teach the dog to stay off.

The cushions CAN be fixed somewhat. They won't look like new again but they can be repaired enough for you to get the dog trained. The dog needs to know YOU are the pack leader and you aren't about to let him call the shots.
If it's only the cushion that needs repair it won't take much fabric and they CAN be removed to fix them. You shouldn't need more than maybe 4 - 6 yards of fabric (depending on their size of course) and if he ripped up the stuffing another $20 - $40 worth of stuffing and/or foam to plump them up again. That's not too bad but you'll need to locate someone who can do the work if you are afraid to tackle it yourself. Look for a tailor or seamstress in your area and see if they are willing to take it on.

It would be much easier and cheaper to buy a couch cover!

To revamp your cushions you would have to buy tons of fabric, sew it on, and it would just get out of hand, if I were you I would just buy a couch-cover! :D
