There is no need to stop exercising while pregnant, but listen to your body. If you feel tired, stop. If you feel pain, stop and consult your dr. No heavy lifting (over 20-30 lbs, whatever is comfortable), no high intensity cardio, you could overheat which is bad for the baby. If you have not been exercising regularly before pregnancy then you may want to start out slow, walking or swimming, and save the higher impact stuff for after delivery. But staying in shape during pregnancy can help you have a quicker labor and delivery, or at least tolerate it easier!

I was also told the same as the above answer to prevent miscarriage.

Last thing I would risk or wonder if I could have prevented it.

It is best to take it easy for the first 12 weeks, thereafter is to lightly exercise, nothing too excessive.

It is true that swimming is the best exercise while pregnant, brisk walk,

a stationary bike, and prenatal yoga

But I would wait to do those until after 12 weeks.

Congrats on your pregnancy, make sure to get plenty of rest and take care of yourself

Bless you, check out consuming tons of fruit and veg and a few meat if you'll, somewhat fish. DO NOT EAT: peanuts, no raw fish, no Mayo or whatever with uncooked egg in it!! Soft and blue-veined cheeses, corresponding to camembert, brie and stilton. Any form of pate.. As for the morning health problem check out the travell bands from boots they don't seem to be high-priced and do paintings!! Good success x

I am also 6 weeks almost 7 & I do physical therapy so some excercise is ok but I wouldn't do as much, take it easy.

i would take a break in your first trimester due to the high risk of miscarriage. your OB should have told you the same thing. or "just don't do as much. when you start feeling tired stop." thats what my OB says
