My neighbors play loud music all the time, what can I do?

I live in the crap fest known as Philadelphia, I live in a crappy neighborhood, and I live in an apartment. Their landlord said that I can not do anything until after 10, is this true? This is ridiculous.

I'm not even going to answer this one. mg hit the nail on the head. Stinkin inconsiderate people. I'm getting so sick of it. It's not just in Philadelphia it's everywhere and getting worse.

I had to call the cops once because of loud music. I told them it had been going all day, but of course I waited until night to call. The cops told me that the noise ordinances aren't only for nighttime. When you live in an apt. or close proximity to others, you have to respect their right to some peace and quiet even in the daytime. Call the cops and ask for their help.

If I can faintly hear music, that's one thing. If it's shaking pictures on my walls, that's completely different and I won't put up with it.

Call the police and post your complaint. If you don't want the cops to come to your home to take the report and talk to you for fear of reprisal by your neighbors who are playing the loud music, tell the cops this. They will still come out and go to your neighbors. Too many complaints about these partiers may get them evicted. Good riddance to this type of people who have no consideration for their neighbors.

Approach your neighbors and threaten to call the cops if they don't stop the excessively loud music.

At a certain point it goes from music to a major annoyance.

Your landlord is legally obligated to provide you with an apartment that provides you with "quite enjoyment."

Perhaps a dance class would benefit you. You know kind of a "when in Rome" thing.

    Buy ear-plugs
