Another core band to get opinions on?

Question

I wasn't going to do one of these today cause I figured people have had enough but then I got annoyed at someone on here about it so... here's another band. And this one will be the heaviest core band I've asked about so far and they are definitely deathcore. The band is named Oceano and even though they only have one album out they're known pretty well but I'm really curious to see what people around here think of them so that's why I'm asking this.

I hope I wasn't the dude that made you annoyed :o

Anyway, I did enjoy that more than I thought I would. It's not something I'd listen to regularly, like Maiden, but if I'm in the mood for it it would be great. If I can find the album at a decent price I will purchase it.

Whitechapel is great too, but once again, I can only listen in small doses. TBDM is the only deathcore band I can listen to a lot. I'm not sure why though...

It doesn't really bother me but if the drums are REALLY good like in Arsis then yeah I will take notice. I agree with Pantera. Vinnie Paul is a great drummer. I also agree with Machine Head, Dave is a great drummer as well. It kinda bothers me if the drumming is repetitive in the band. I want to hear something different. Even if it is a bit repetitive it doesn't bother me as much, I'm more concerned about vocals and instrumentals. Agreed.

I like em, one of the few Deathcore bands I enjoy. even though this genre in general is ****, but regardless Oceano is pretty passable.

I heard that song District Of Misery a long time ago and I forgot the name of the band They're fu!king amazing..those vocals are unearthly and insane. They are, as you said, one of the heaviest bands I've ever heard.

yay!!! a -core band I like!!!

The guttural vocals are amazing, usually when a core band gets to this point, they start doing clean vocals, and it ruins it... but there's no clean vocals to be heard.
(I don't have anything against combination vocals, two of my fav. bands, Into Eternity, and Scar Symmetry use them, it's just usually when a core band starts doing clean vocals, it sounds really pop-punk to me)

Is it possible you could name me some more good core bands, if I list my favs?

You can like them however much you want, that still doesn't make them good.
