Pupils and antidepressant???

This is my first day on a SSNRI and my pupils are noticeably larger, is this a problem??

    Not a problem, but is a relatively common effect of SNRI's, and SSRI's alike. The only 'problem' would be for people who might have worsening vision at night when their pupils become larger. In this type of case the medication might increase pupil size to a level in the daytime that could cause some visual disturbance. Though this is quite unlikely.

    This effect can, just like the others, be adapted to by the brain and lessen or go away completely with time.

    If it is of extreme worry to you, it is worth mentioning to the prescribing doctor at your next visit, though it isn't anything that is going to harm you.
