A soda won't hurt you once in a while, it's drinking soda daily that is harmful for people's health. It isn't going to hurt your race tomorrow, you should be fine.
Also, don't worry about "drinking plenty of water" or "eating pasta or other carbs for dinner". Only drink when thirsty or to replenish sweat, constantly drinking (as many runners do) is counterproductive - it has no benefit, and you have to pee more often. There is no need to carbo load for races shorter than a half marathon. Your body has more than enough energy for any distance you will face in track and field. Eat a normal, healthy meal tonight, and be sure to get plenty of sleep.
Good luck tomorrow.

One soda won't kill you the day before a meet. Just drink plenty of water and eat some pasta or some other carbs for dinner. Do not drink any soda right before your meet or race tomorrow! My coaches, in all my sports; cross country, basketball, and track; have told us to all quit drinking soda during the season. So try your best to replace soda with Gatorade, Powerade, fruit drinks, milk, or even better, water! Good luck in your meet tomorrow!
