  • Need boyfriend advice?

    Alright, so I'll start from the very beginning. Freshmen year we met and we liked each other but I think we were just too immature to be in a relationship. We had continued to be friends and mostly just text each other until last April, junior year. He asked me to prom. I said yes. We had a great time. We went on a date and then became boyfriend/girlfriend. We had our first kiss on the second date. It's been going pretty well. Around other people I feel like it's kinda awkward, but when we are alone it's great. I think we are both pretty shy.

    Our relationship is pretty sexual. Whenever we are alone together we fool around. Speaking in terms of bases, we are kinda in between 2nd and 3rd. I am not sure how I feel about going to 3rd quite yet. I know he wants me too, but he said he doesn't want me doing anything I'm not comfortable with. I think I want to do it, but I'm nervous and worried I'd mess up or something. Also, I don't want to always fool around whenever we are alone. How do I tell him that without hurting his feelings? Or how do I even bring that up?

    Also, I run as my sport. I do cross country and track long distance. He jokes about that not being a real sport and it being easy and all that. It's really annoying because I work really hard and I really care about it. I know he's joking, but it still kinda hurts my feelings. What can I say to him?

    My mom says he might be a little insecure, what do you think? And why would he be insecure and how can I make him feel more secure?

    I'm just a little lost right now haha. I was trying to figure out what to do on my own and I couldn't and I also didn't rely have anyone I knew I could talk to.. So help me out please!

    P.S. I do not want to break up. I think that this is something I can work out.

  • What does this weird dream mean?

    Last night I had a very strange dream. It started with my boyfriend having bombs planted near this mall playground or something. Everyone had run away and my boyfriend was standing there with the button in his hand. Infuses we were able to talk him down or something so he started to walk away. I think I was talking him down and there weren't police there or anything. He jumped off the playground and ACCIDENTALLY set off the bombs. The bombs killed 2 people and hurt a bunch of people but he was fine and so was I. He was arrested and was going to be sentenced to two months in prison. Then the dream switched focuses to my dying uncle who had a pulmonary emblem or something while walking on a path and I had to go get him. And I was with my boyfriend and a few friends at the pool and then a tornado started approaching. So I left to help my uncle and everyone else stayed. An ambulance came for my uncle and I don't remember about the tornado. In the dream my boyfriend and I were at my house in the beginning with my parents and some extended family just hanging out. We watched a movie ipstairs while the rest of my family watched a movie in the basement. He also wrote. A song for ne at the very beginning of the dream. In the dream I also helped and old woman light a candle (but it wasn't a real candle but she thought it was) at the pool dining room.

    I'm sorry that was so out of order but I remembered new things as I went.

    My boyfriend and I are both 16 and tidy we've been dating for 2 months.

    So my question is what does it all mean? Does it all connect? Because it seems pretty random to me.

  • Running book for non runners?

    My parents are not runners, but I am becoming quite serious about it. I always try to tell them stuff about it and we all get frustrated when I'm talking about something they know nothing about. I want to get them a book that tells the basics of running for a non runner. Like what splits are, how long a 5k is. That kind of stuff. Anyone know of any books like this? Thanks!

    I'm not trying to loose weight, I just want to eat better. I am a sophomore in high school and I am a runner. I usually eat a healthy dinner, but I need help on what I should eat for breakfast, especially on Saturdays when we run in the morning, and what I can pack for lunch at school.   • If I get my tooth pulled what will happen!! Please help :(?

    First off, I'm very scared of the dentist. I have a very bad toothache and they will probably have to pull my tooth. My family does not have insurance, and I'm 15. I've only been a few times because of the whole money thing. My tooth hurts very bad and just started giving me headaches and a little ear ache. There is also a side of the tooth missing a little on the inside side. I'm assuming they'll have to pull it, but feel free to tell me if I' wrong, I would love to hear it. Anyways, after they pull the tooth, can I get a replacement? Could they just cap my tooth? I'm so scared. Thanks.

  • Can they still fill my cavity?

    Ok, I have a large cavity in one of my molars. It hurts very badly. On the same tooth, a little of the side is missing.. I know, very bad. Could they still fill that like a regular cavity? Or what would they do? And how do I know if I have an infection or not? Its beginning to give me an ear ache and headache. Please help, I'm very scared but my mouth hurts so bad :(

  • How to recover after basketball ends for track?

    My body is killing me because of basketball. We only hold stretches for 10 seconds so my muscles are tight, even when I stretch on my own. I am so bruised up o my legs I feel like I've been hit by a truck. I have a 3 day break between basketball and track (distance running). What can I do in those three days to be ready for track?   • What should I do for track this season?

    I did long jump and triple jump last year. LJ- 13 ft TJ- 24''6 I think. So not very good. I did cross country this past season for the first time and ran high 21s, PR 21:41. I am definitely running distance this track season, but I'm not sure if I want to jump or not. I love jumping, I like the feeling of flying through the air. I also know I could possibly place in a couple meets this year if I worked at it. But the people in jumping creep me out, they are obnoxious and I don't like them. And there is a new coach that seems very scary.

    As for the running, I love it. I'm playing basketball right now and I miss running so much. I also am trying to improve my cross country time as much as I can for next season. There are a few girls I am competing with for a spot on Varsity. I was on varsity this year, but next year I want to run at the state meet. I want to run a sub 6 min mile this year.

    My coach said he wants me to continue with jumping, at least for a little while. I'm not sure if I like it enough. I have a lot of hard classes this year and if I overwhelm myself like I did last year with track, I won't have good grades. I don't want to be overwhelmed and I don't really want to spread my time doing half jumping and half distance. I don't know what to do. Advise? Thanks!

  • My basketball team keeps goofing off?

    I am captain of my basketball team. We are basically all new to the high school program except me and one other girl. At practices, everyone just messes around the whole time, even pregame. They shoot around when we are not supposed to be, play messy basketball when we are working on a play, and just don't pay attention. Also, no one respects our coach. I don't really like him and he isn't a very good coach but I think he still needs to be respected as he is our coach and he does try and help us. But whenever he talks people don't listen, bounce the ball while he's talking, shoot the ball while he's talking, and talk to each other while he's talking. Also, some people WALK ON THE FLOOR. That is a big pet peeve of mine. Pretty much our whole team except select people act like they don't care. Everyone says they want to win, but nothing ever gets done. I'm tired of their whining. I've been tired, sore, and bruised up before during the season, but I still work hard in practice and all they do is whine.

    My coach doesn't make us run and doesn't really get mad, so he's no help. And we (the other captain and I) have already asked him to have us run more multiple times and nothing changes. I'm just tired of us not working ad getting better.

    What can I do about this? Any advise? Thanks!

    How many miles do run over the summer? My coach wants us to run between 40 to 50 miles a week. I made a plan and it has me run 400 miles over the entire summer. Is that too much or just right?

  • Running in high school and college...?

    I ran cross country this past year and got a PR of 21:41. It was my first year of distance running and I will be doing distance track this spring. My goal is to break 19 minutes before I graduate, 18:30 would be even better. I want to run in college, DII at least. Is that possible? Would, say, a 5:15 mile be good enough for DII? Is a scholarship possible? I know there are few out there for runners. Thanks!

  • Knee pain and muscle twitches...?

    So about three weeks ago I was playing basketball, jumped for a shot and heard my knee crack a little. It didn't really bother me right after the fact, but ever since then my knee has been hurting after I run. Lately it has really been hurting. Could it be ITBS? How should I treat it? Also, The muscle right above my knee, my quad, has been twitching. Is it connected? Thanks!
