Is this a distance track spike?
Last year I bought a spike almost identical to this but did long and triple jump in it. This year I'm running and jumping. Is this a distance track shoe? http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?p...
Should I jump in my old spikes and buy new ones to run in? I am much more serious about running and just jump because I like to. Should I just do both in the same shoe? Thanks!
The shoes I own have spikes on them and they aren't for cross country. I have cross country flats, could I use those or is that weird...

yeaaa definitely do not use your flats if your serious about running in track. That picture IS a distance track shoe. I do the same thing run and jump and i just use my distance shoe for both. because the only difference between the two is that the distance shoe has support throughout the shoe but for jumping your sprinting so your on your toes. therefore it wont matter what the rest of the shoe is like.

This shoe is a cross country shoe, and unless the spike plate is a problem on the track it will work for track distance races as well.
You can long jump in distance shoes if you don't own a jump shoe.
You can run distance on the track in flats.

From what I heard, you're actually not allowed to apply spikes for wintry climate track. in spite of the undeniable fact that, in the spring, you need to use them, as nicely as in X-C. I ideally like the kind Brooks the main. Their footwear are very mild and help to advance velocity.
