Which form of this name is better?

My middle name is Lynne (Lyn) and it's is kind of a family tradition to pass it down to a daughter. As my hubby and I have been working on our name list though there are some names that I like it better pronounced lyn-ay, which I have had my spelling pronounced that way by a few people. But I'm wondering if there is a different spelling of the second pronunciation. Also over all which do you prefer (I know it really depends on first name, but in general)?

Lynne is cute, but i prefer Lyn-ay!

    Ways to spell "Lyn-ay""

    Lynae

    Lenay

Lynne' (like renee, with apostrophe over the e)

    Lynee' (same as above)

    Lenae (most common)

    congrats on the baby (:

    Both names are very pretty!

    Lynae

    Lynnae

    Lynay

    Lynnay

    Lanae

    Lanay

You could also use Lyn/Lynn in the first name and use Lanae as the middle name.

    Such as:

    Brooklyn Lanae

    Gracelyn Lanae

    Maelyn Lanae

    Hope this helps.

I prefer Lynne (Lyn). I don't like the sound of Lyn-ay, but I suppose you could spell it Linae if you wanted it pronounced that way.

I prefer Lynne. That is the feminine spelling and the masculine is Lynn. If you call her Lynae, people might pronounce it lyn-i like the outdoor porch area.

I would spell the "lyn-ay" pronunciation Lynae or Linay.

Lynne is very pretty, but I think many people would pronounce it "Lyn."

I think Linay sounds kinda weird. I've never heard it before.

    So, I prefer Lyn
