Assuming that you're talking about a 3rd generation Glock, or later, (In other words one that has an equipment rail) that's about as hard as falling out of bed!
Slide the light's mount onto the dust cover rail and secure it. (You'll hear a, 'click' when the locking bar drops into the cross groove.) Study the pictures in the link below:
