Party ideas for a teenage girl?
I want to have an end of the year party with a bunch of my friends, since not all of us will be at the same school next year. But, I have no idea (none at all) of what to do. What kinds of games should I provide? Can't be too childish, but can't be too mature either. My friends are all very tomboyish, so stuff to do with makeup and jewelery wouldn't exactly work... WHAT DO I DO?
Thank you~

for an end of year party ages ago, me and my friends went to this lake place, and the people at the lake gave us all this equipment, and we were in teams, and we had to build this huge raft, and then somehow get across to the other side of the lake. which ever team got there first, were the winners. that was really fun, and its for like tom boys, or you could always set up a really hard assualt course at some lake or pool or in a garden or field or something, and try and stage a sort of 'total wipeout' party. i've never tried it but it sounds fun. or you could do paintballing in the woods, when it's semi dark outside, that is fun.
well whatever you do, have fun xx

Well my friend is having a party, and we got together with a couple other friends and MADE up some games, that we all thought we would enjoy.
of course some other fun, already made games, that are always enjoyed, are: twister, rock band/guitar hero, hide in seek (outside, in the dark), apples to apples... that kinda thing...
bonfires are great.
you could have a camp out, with a couple tents in your back yard.
you could all go to the beach, and just swim, and hang out.
Recently, i threw a surprise birthday party for my friend, but it was short notice, so we didnt have anything big planned. instead we all just played with a balloon by trying to keep it in the air, ate pizza, and hung out. we just talked, and it was an awesome night.
hope this helps.

Outdoor activities and team games would be fun. To decide on teams, put 2 colors of jelly beans in a bag and guests draw out a color.
Games>>have 2 teams standing opposite one another at first....provide a balloon for each member (say 1 team has all red, the other all green)...object is to keep your team's balloons all up in the air while trying to knock down opposing team's. If a balloon falls to ground...it's out. Game keeps going til last balloon remains for the winning team.
Have everyone bring a huge white oversized t-shirt (craft stores have them cheap) and a water blaster gun. You provide the food coloring and mix it with water for the water guns. Home version of "splat ball"...object is to get your color on the most people. Take turns playing the "leader".
Another game: you might want to "wash off" after that game, so have 2 teams , each with a "good sport" who will sit with an empty plastic bottle on their heads. Buckets of water will stand between them and their team members. Object is to fill a small plastic cup from the bucket and run to "good sport" and carefully pour the water into the bottle and go back to tag next team member. First team to fill bottle or get it the most filled by a certain time wins. Give "good sport" each a towel.
Get 2 tubs of water and fill each with 100 marbles. Throw in some ice for more of a challenge. Team members must pick up marbles using their toes. Give them 30 sec or a minute (you judge how long) to have a turn before next team member adds to it. Team who collects the most wins.
Set up a crazy obstacle course in your yard...things each person has to do before moving on to the next challenge. This can be teams, too. (Change up members of teams simply by picking new jelly beans each time). Challenges can be anything from doing the hula hoop 3 times, to jumping rope, to carrying something on your head (like a pillow) while carrying water to go dump in a kiddie pool, then they have to sit in the pool (where a bunch of balloons are in it) and try to break the balloon by sitting on it in the water. Think of more fun stuff to add that you have around (could be crawling under something, doing something with a ball, etc, sticking your hand in a bowl of cooked spaghetti to fish out the exact change for a pack of gum--throw random coins in there and decide the amount!).
I guess it's best to have guests wear their bathing suits and bring a change of clothes :D.
Have easy fun foods and beverages to drink...they're going to work up an appetite.
Make some Brownie Pops (recipe on Bettycrocker.com)...they're on a stick and all decorated and easy to eat. Make some chocolate chip cookies.
Make sandwiches or little pizzas, fruit, cheeses, crackers, Triscuits, can have pasta salad, too.
Give prizes of assorted candy treats when teams win games. Have your balloons all ready for play and anything you need for the games. It's all about Fun in the Sun!
