Since Husband gone, should I get a room-mate to help w/bills?

give him his space along with the divorce papers, you are old enough to know that you dont treat people that way, and no way do you treat the person you are supposed to love that way, if your husband did not use you in the beginning , then he is doing so now, i remember when you got married u seemed so happy and then not long after you started having problems with his mother, you had words with her you said, well i have learned from past experiences when your not the first person in another persons life, there family really never does accept you its like its all ur fault that they have problems, from what lil i have chatted with you , you seem like a very nice lady, so hang in there and just be careful with whom u give ur heart to. my prayers are with you Diane, i know how you feel, like i said,been there done that and never want to do it again

If you are having a hard time making ends meet, then I don't see anything wrong with a roommate. As far as moving out, that is up to you and how you feel and what you want to do. I feel for you for sure. I know what it's like to be in your shoes. I'm in the same boat. Except there will be no coming home for my girl. That is what she wants too. Time and her own space. It hurts like hell but it gets better with time. So you need to hang in there. I would suggest to give up on him coming back to you. Because if he don't it will be easier on you by already accepting that fact. If he does, then it's like a bonus. Sorry you are so lost. Me too. Hope things work out well for you. : )

There are times in life when we all need some time alone to sort things out. The details are not telling bad things except he is facing a hard choice between his mother and his wife, and this is not easy to anyone with healthy consciousness. Give him some time alone, he needs it.

Your mother is a grown woman who should be able to care for herself.

She should have her own place, even if it's in a retirement facility.

Since you want your husband back, then you need to work out your issues with him.

And if the issue is with your mother living with you, then tell her you need her to leave.

She should be understanding of your feelings.

this is a tough situation because if mom is causing trouble in marriage she will do it with someone else. Before you know it you both will be the owner of 20 cats. Mom has to go!

I would say wait no longer than a month to hear from him. If he communicates with others and not with you, I would say take the hint and move out.
