sharp pain in the right side of abdomen 8 weeks pregnant?
I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant and have had a bad pain like in between my hip and ribs all the way on the right side. It's really only there like first thing in the morning sometimes and it was really bad today after I urinated. I had to hold it for a while so I had to go really bad and I have to go really bad in the morning too does that have anything to do with it?

You really need to mention this to your midwife or doctor. Hopefully all is perfectly fine, but pains down one side are often a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. This can be life threatening if not noticed in time.
I really don't want to worry you and I hope that all is well with your baby, but it is always best to get checked out by a professional.

I had some really really bad pains too... mine were due to my muscles stretching, It was really early on.. around 10 weeks or so. Take a closer look and see if you experience these pains when you move.. or swing your legs over the bed.. things of that nature. always though, check with your doctor.
