names of some computer games?? I am new to the whole pc games thing..?
I recently saw an episode of CSI : New York, in which people on the show where playing an online game called " Second Life " where people could create an alter-ego, decide what he or she looked like, and could move around a town, go into clubs, stores etc, even talk to others online in this game.. very much like the movie AVATAR..
My QQQ is, are there really games like this out there?? or was this just created for the TV show?? and if yes, what are some names of these online games that I could play?? and are they free??
I am kind of new to computer games, I only just recently started playing some games on Facebook..
Any help would be appreciated...

Yes, there is actually a game called Second Life.
Haven't seen that episode but have tried out SL before and thats pretty much what you can do, and more (based on your description).

Second Life is real, and free, too!
Many, MANY games online are free.
Just search 'games like Second Life', 'free mmorpgs', 'games like -insert game you like- ' ... etc.
No doubt you'll find tons of games you'll like!

Sounds kind of like wolfenstein / doom / duke nukem, or a knockoff of them.
