As a good demonstration of "states rights"?

Should the Federal government let Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida handle their own oil damage without Federal interference? It would be a good demonstration of the effectiveness of these state authorities and governors, and it would help lower the Federal deficit, because you know that BP, Transocean, and Halliburton are not going to pick up the entire tab for this mess.

Funny thing is that Bobby Jindell of Louisiana has been begging the Federal government to get out of his way and let the state handle things. There are Federal regulations that prevent the state from doing certain things. Not only has Obama been useless but he has actually impeded progress by those that are most affected..

The federal government only grabs power, it never lets it go.
