Bush used 9/11 as an excuse for the Patriot Act-what unconstitutional bill will Obama use the Oil Spill for?

I take issue with your premise that the Patriot Act is in any way unconstitutional. The fact is that it is absolutely necessary to have during the long conduct of an asymmetrical global war such as the War on Terror. It was crafted so to navigate the fine line between ensuring national security and protecting the rights of American citizens.
And the bill that Obama and the Dems will be pushing may not be unconstitutional (thought it may), but guaranteed it will certainly not help the economy and wil certainly cost a lot of money.

Ever notice how none of the people claiming that the Patriot Act is 'unconstitutional' can quote a section of the Act that is unconstitutional?
Maybe you should try actually _reading_ the document? Or are you afraid that the facts just may conflict with your political opinions?

What excuse did Obama use to extend the Patriot Act? I'm afraid of how Obama will use this oil spill to further his agenda, we live in disturbing times.

Cap and Trade.
Conservative media has been making this insinuation since before the oil leak.
