Why does the Wiki. Review crowd want to deny sysops the pleasure of coming down hard on misidentified vandals?

Doesn't the Wikipedia Review crowd realize that coming down hard on people who happen to have the same IP address as vandals has great therapeutic value for sysops? Don't they also realize that by falsely accusing innocents, they are also discouraging them from participating in Wikipedia, accomplishing that goal far better than all their wikibashing?

Lisa, I understand what you're saying, but I for one am one of the "Wikipedia Review crowd" who takes great delight in watching an admin block an unsuspecting and innocent user merely for the "crime" of subscribing to an Internet service provider that uses dynamic IP address assignments across different households. Where else but at Wikipedia could Person A be given the "no editing for you" treatment, simply because he uses the same ISP as some other family that lives a few miles away from him?

Just another falsehood that's part of the Wikipedia mythology -- "the encyclopedia anyone can edit", really isn't, is it?

Oh come on, if you want to use a question to make a point don't just disprove a straw-man to make a dubious assumption look more probable.

The sysops or mods or whatever make mistakes I'm sure, but why would it be therapeutic, and if the WikiReview peeps are doing wikibashing then why would they care about it in the first place?

I'm sure no one's out to attack people for no reason, what's the point in that? Why don't the WikiReview people try to fix things if there's some problem?
