Whats the Best Islay Scotch?
I love the Ardbeg. Does anyone have any other recommendations for the Islay region? Has anyone traveled or lived in this area?

I like Lagavulin. The 16 yr. old is the regular. The 12 yr. cask strength is also good but the flavor is not quite as complex as would be expected. It is also not as smooth because of the higher alcohol.
The 21 yr is in my opinion not worth the extra money. It is a little smoother richer but not at nearly double the price.
