Do Centennial Park Mormons "encourage" mass child production?

OR is it a family choice? I know they have families w/ up to 30 in them. But, since they have members who don't practice polygamy, I just wondered.Members must profess to "believe" in the principle of polygamy. They don't have to feel "called" by God to live the principle.Or as one man put it." I just don't feel worthy".Thanks!

What is a Centennial Park Mormon?

The LDS church does not teach polygamy currently. There has been some evidence that the last couple of prophets have talked out both sides of their mouth on this, but they don't officially teach it or practice it.

    ...huh?

What's a Centennial Park Mormon, and how would that person be any different from a regular Mormon?

We have families with up to 30 kids? Not so much. What woman could possibly churn out that many? More importantly, how crazy would she have to be to try?

Actually, NONE of our members practice polygamy. Any Mormon who did would be excommunicated on the spot. Some groups out West practice polygamy, but they aren't Mormon.

We don't have to profess belief in a principle we don't practice.

We don't have to be called of God on a practice we don't have.

We don't have to feel worthy of something we don't do.

...and again, what's a Centennial Park Mormon?

Yes. When a woman has no life other than her children, no status, no power over any other area of her life, then her children become the measure of her life.

The fundamentalist Mormons there don't allow their women any other domain.

Some of them make money off aid for dependent children as well.
