Where are the experts Boots and Coots (Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc.)?

Why have they not been called into to give their expertise on the situation in the Gulf instead of all these eggheads... where are the riggers, the pipe-fitters and all those who do the job everyday of the week 24/7 365 days a year....?

Why are those in the White House only interested in the eggheads opinion, not the hard working men and women of the industry that put their lives on the line everyday?

Update:

I am so sorry to inform you Red Adair ha left this world and gone to meet his maker, may he be at peace:

Paul Neal "Red" Adair (June 18, 1915 - August 7, 2004)

Update 2:

Apparently, Neither does anyone else currently involved, but I trust them more then the incompetence that is on display at the moment by the Obama Administration...

Update 3:

does not mean that those who still run the Company's can not figure this problem out...Obviously none of the jokers on the right nor the the clowns on the left have a clue as to what is needed to cap this well.....

"Coots" died back in March. Their expertise is on land wells, not deep sea wells.

There's a big war room in BP headquarters in Houston filled with experienced oil men trying to figure out how to stop this thing. Did you see the heads of other oil companies (EXXON, Shell, etc) testify before Congress recently. They're pretty upset at BP for allowing this disaster to happen. They know it's going to affect every oil company, not just BP. So they're helping as much as they can. The best minds in the oil business are working on this.

But this is not a normal well. It's one of the deepest offshore wells ever drilled. There's simply not much that can be done at those depths. Things are getting better, slowly but surely.

"There are now between 500 and 600 people, including staff from Exxon, Shell, Anadarko and Chevron, working in the center, which operates around the clock. Shifts last 12 hours, though a handover period means most are at least 13."

And they already were involved with the top kill that didnt work.

    Red Adair is dead.

I have been wondering that myself. Where is Red Adair when you need him?
