I have a question about skin grafts?

I am having a skin graft done tommorow on a amputated part of my foot, and i was wondering i carry the staph infection, and right now it is dormant and was wondering can they use part of my skin for this graft or will they use donor skin?

I also may be a carrier of strep , since i have had it so much in my feet since the amputation... any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

your dr should have told you if he was using your skin or donor's skin already. I wouldn't sweat the risk of infection we all have that on our skin and a healthy immune system takes care of it for us. GO UK WILDCATS!!!!!!
