I'm flying Paris to Tokyo, through the night. Will I really need either of these things? Or anything else?

If you want to sleep, earplugs may be helpful.
Depending on what you're wearing on your feet, flight socks may or may not be needed. I know I liked taking my shoes off when I tried to sleep; will your feet get cold if you do that?

No need for flight socks. Earplugs is up to you. If you can sleep without them, then fine.
