What can I do when I have a 6 port internal sound card but only one port is working, only plays left speaker?

I recently upgraded my OS from Windows XP to Windows 7 and that is when the problem first occured. My motherboard is built in and says MSI N1996 on it.

Update:

I can't find the driver on the MSI website and my hubby already used their auto download tool and it said everything was all up to date.

You need the audio drivers for the Windows 7 operating system. You need to go to the MSI website ( http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloadindex ) and find your model and download the driver.

Try the website for the creator of the audio hardware (Realtek, Soundblaster...etc...).
