Considering one comes with scientific proof and the other one claims to be true because the book it is written in claims to be true....

    oh.. so difficult to decide.

    let'see. Monkeys won!!!

No. What a preposterous question! I don't hold either scenario to be true, but the way you phrase your question makes it seem like they are the only two alternatives - both as ridiculous as the other.

I don't have to believe in evolution, if that is what you mean, in order for it to be true. Scientific theories are just models that give explanations for the available facts. The beauty of science is that it is indifferent as to whether or not you, or I, believe it to be valid. Christian (or more accurately Judaic) scripture, such as Genesis, is quite the opposite. I like to think I have a choice. In fact, I like to think that everyone has a choice.

If you reject evolution, you are rejecting fact. Truth. If you reject fact and truth, your opinion is based on nothing more than random analogy, and it can be discarded as worthless and ill conceived.

Genesis 10 is a piece of Babylonian flood mythology rehashed by the hebrews.

Like it or not, you are related to every living thing on Earth.

I'd go with the monkeys every time.

This is not a personal attack on you.

    Its just the truth.
