Do you think Ron Paul would have a legitimate chance of winning the 2012 Presidential Election, should he run?

Update:

In a hypothetical poll taken in April, Ron Paul was dead even against Obama if he were to run at that time.

Update 2:

Bob Smith - Democrats AND Republicans are for the War in Iraq. If that weren't the case, the war would be over by now! We have a Democratic Congress AND a Democratic President!

Update 3:

Jen - I've researched that article. Its slander.

I am voting for him whether or not he runs. He is the only person in D.C who supports liberty and the Constitution.

    No, and no.

He's a republican who's against the war in Iraq. Are you kidding me? He'll never be nominated. The only nomination he can ever win is a third-party nomination, and third-parties only siphon votes away from democrats and republicans. Didn't he get somewhere from 2-6% of the popular vote in the last election?

I also heard he doesn't believe in spending more than he can raise. In terms of real life, that's fine, but in campaign finance, absurd.

pondering in basic terms how lots the left pushed the age subject approximately McCain? not of challenge, he may well be a bad determination on the everyday point... he's a million year OLDER than McCain, yet his supporters tend to bash McCain for his age, ignoring Dr Paul's.

YES. But I think it's even more important to get Ron Paul clones ALL over Congress. That's the only way this country can be saved, and it's a slim chance even at that.

    Get out of NATO.

    Get out of the UN.

    Get out of the FED.

Judging on the intelligence of the republican party (not that democrats are smart either), probably not.

No. He is the only conservative Republican. But they never support him when it comes time to vote.

He should tell the Republicans what they want to hear, and then get in office and enforce his libertarian ideas.

    As a republican? Nope.
