Is it OK to mix semi-gloss paint and satin paint if they are the same shade?
I have 1 1/2 gallons of semi-gloss paint and really hate to waste it. We have a new house and we love the color on our current walls, but would like to try a lower gloss paint treatment this time. Please only answer if you have experience with this sort of thing. Thank you!

semi gloss is not as glossy where satin is a non gloss look a good suggestion would be for you to paint a little section of the wall and after it dries see if it is to your satisfaction. you can mix the two together but the results will show after the paint dries. good luck.
