My Hair Metal band of the day (take 15)?
Since I have started this line of questions I have focused on mostly the 80s/early 90s but that is not the only time that hair metal has existed. There are a lot of new bands formed each year. Today I am going to showcase a new band.
Vains Of Jenna were formed in Falkenberg, Sweden in 2005. They have released two albums so far and you will notice they are strongly influenced by the LA sleaze metal scene. They now currently reside in Los Angeles.

MQ: Thoughts on the songs/band?
MQ2: What is your favorite band that formed within the last 5 years?
BQ: Does anyone like gourmet hot dogs? If so what is your favorite gourmet dog?
**I had a Texas Hot Dog once that was served with BBQ sauce, sweet cole slaw and a dill pickle spear. Amazing
@KP I feel like I have been trying to play catchup for a week now.

lol, I opened the first link in a new tab and was listening without watching, and I thought I was listening to a woman singing who had a great voice... but it was just a dude with no balls, lol. what ever it is, it sounds great I'm really digging the song. It sounds a little punk IMO.
the second one sounds a lot less punk. You can tell they like Motley Crue... and I like the Crue, so I like these guys. after giving all the songs a listen, I think I'll have to look out for an album. I especially liked the intro to the third song.
MQ2: Versailles formed 2007
BQ: not sure about gourmet, but I've had hot dogs... I prefer a good burger though

I am about to listen to the stuff you posted yesterday, then get to this one. New Hair Metal sounds interesting.
MQ- ^^^^^^^
MQ2- Hmmmm... Formed? Well that makes this tough... as my 3 favorite bands of the last decade are all from 2004 or earlier. So.. hmmm. Well... Cripper possibly. I would have to actually think about a lot fo the other bands I love to actually remember when they were formed.
BQ- Love them. Actually when i was visiting Mexican friends in Texas 2 months ago, they had a picnic, and they served all beef hot dogs that they had bacon wrapped before grilling and topped with some sort of delicious pico de gallo type salsa. They were possibly the best dogs I have ever eaten.

MA: VOJ is a pretty solid band. Nikki Kin (guitar) is killer! I never liked their fist album, as I always thought it sounded like it was recorded in a garbage can. "The Art of Telling Lies" is very solid---however, Lizzy DeVine (singer) has quit the band, new lead singer Jesse Forte is a huge stylistic departure, sounding a lot more grungy than glam, something I don't think I'll get used to.
MA2: Crashdiet technically started in 2000 and Crazzy Lixx in 2002, so I can't count them... which probably means Reckless Love, another Scandinavian glam metal outfit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy6NpF2V2xg
BA: I actually prefer my hot dogs plain, no bun, toppings, etc... just give me a fork and knife

MA: Ok, i will be honest. Though i did enjoy the songs to some extent, i didn't really find the band too interesting over all (except the last song). Musically, they didn't lack anything, but it all just sounded a little weak to me. Vocals too didn't have the sharp edge needed in glam. Maybe i just wasn't compatible with the band's sound. Sorry. :(
MA2: Doom:vs, Triptykon, Forest Stream
BA: Never had a hot dog, so can't tell you. :P

ahh oh my god, finally a question about them(:
sucks that lizzy left though, his voice was the reason i got into the band in the first place.
i saw them live back in '07, and i haven't been to a better show since.
MA2: other than vains, reckless love, if they count (:
