OK to wear glasses with contacts?

I often wear contacts but sometimes prefer to wear glasses in a work environment to make me look more mature when I work with older clients. My eyesight is relatively bad but stable at this point; if I were to purchase glasses frames without a prescription, would it be harmful to wear these with prescription contacts in my eyes at the same time? Ie: wear glasses with no prescription solely for effect?

That is funny.. it's odd that we view people wearing glasses as more mature and intelligent. I don't know the answer, but I'd assume there would be no problem with it. It seems it would be the same as someone with normal eyesight wearing nonprescription glasses.

Why not just wear your prescription glasses while you're at work?

If the glasses have no prescription, ie. they are for cosmetic purposes only, then it is absolutely fine.
