what are the steps to becoming a doctor?

ok i have a 8 month old daughter and im 20 years old. i am working on my GED and want to become a doctor but where ive got a baby i want to do it a lil at a time instead going straight for it. what are the steps? is it cna, then get my lpn then my rn then doctor. could i even do that? do i need to become a nurse practioner after the rn and before the doctor? what are all the ranks lowest to highest from cna to doctor?

    being a nurse and doctor are two different careers, you don't go thru all the nursing steps to become a doctor. To be a doctor, you of course graduate from high school, then get your bachelors in something like chemistry or biology. Then you apply to medical school, which is another 4 years, then you graduate with your MD. You are a doctor at that point, but you then do a residency or internship in your specialty, like pediatrics or surgery, etc. There are always other medical careers, nurse, nurse practitioner, physicians assistants, etc.
