It is not the Christian view that God is all-powerful in the sense that He can do any absurd thing that might enter into your head. He is omnipotent in the sense that He can do whatever He wills, but He can only will that which is according to His character. God cannot lie, He cannot deny Himself, and He cannot do logically contradictory things. As all-powerful, he can lift a stone of any size and weight. (Even if the assumption of this objection is granted, it presents no barrier to God lifting the stone. If God can do one contradictory thing, which is to be an all-powerful God yet not powerful enough to lift the stone, then He can do a second contradictory thing, which is to lift the stone too big for Him to lift.)

nowhere in scripture does it say God is all-powerful. It says he's maximum effectual and that each little thing is venture to Him. even nonetheless it additionally says that God can not tempt and that He can not deny His authentic nature. this question is rooted in a loss of know-how of what's and isn't any longer interior the Bible. Well the earth is pretty big and heavy, and God set it in the universe right where He wanted it. No, there's not a rock too heavy for Him to lift.

This question is as old as a rock (no pun).
You think you've sparked some sort of "revelation" in anyones mind with your question from philosophy 101?
Give it up, you cant put God in a box with your finite mind.

Yes. And after having created it He would then pick it up. It's the temporal nature of omnipotence.
