Problems with my Punto?
I'm an absolute novice. I think my headlights aren't working in my Fiat, I tried turning the stick on left hand side of the wheel and the lights don't seem to come on!!! Just brought the car which supposedly passed it's MOT I feel like I'm being stupid. And then I'm trying to find the catch to pop the hood and all I get is the one to pop the trunk?? Help!!

The one for the bonnet will be under the steering wheel, under the glovebox or above the accelerator pedal - they always are.
The stick you are turning may be the fog lights.
On Fiats the ignition must be turned on to get the headlights to work.
Never ever buy a car without the users manual as it is an integral part of the car which has lots of information you will find you need as time goes on like fuse locations, tyre pressures and what fluids to top up with etc etc etc

On early models the catch for the hood is on the passengers side under the the dash and on later models this is on the driver's side under the dash. Probably the lights stalk is faulty, you can get a used one from ebay (very cheap to buy).
