I heard a news clip about that and thought that it was pretty ridiculous. The man is injured but he's not done playing. He'll continue to play once he's healed from his injury. After his playing career is over, I really don't see him coaching right away. At least not at the first club level. He may coach kids at some club or at his Academies soon after but he won't take a first club manager gig. Maybe much, much down the road he could be seriously considered for the English manager role.

He wont be allowed near the England job as he has no coaching badges, no experience, no CV, is still playing professionally and he hasn't shown anything as of yet to make him a stand-out candidate.

Beckham says he's not interested in becoming a coach. I think he's not forceful enough to be a good coach anyway.
