Can people really be that freakin' stupid? When your pet is..?
Can people really be that freakin' stupid? When your pet is sick, showing signs of disease, serious sickness, or that they could possible dying, why in the world would you be on yahoo answers wasting valuable time, and asking questions like -
"My dog is shaking, vomiting...."
or
"My dog isn't moving, and breathing is very shallow"
or
"My cat hasn't eaten for three days, what do I do?"
People can't be that freakin' stupid, can they?
I care because in general, many of these questions contain questions about their animals that have details only a trained vet can answer. If you are paying $300 every time you go to the vet, you are paying too much! If you don't have money to care for your pet, then you should not be a pet owner. If it were a child, or YOUR child, would you come post a question if your child appeared to stopped breathing, stopped eating for days! NO! Then why in the freakin freak, would you do so for your pets! SIGH!

Yes Mark. Yes they can. You see it all the time on YahooAnswers, and even more people in this country who are NOT onYahooAnswers posting these questions are doing it. They are not the people I would call pet owners, they're people who have a pet. Big difference. And some of them never seem to have a brain engaged, especially on the 'duh' stuff like if their pet is hit by a car or is bleeding from the mouth---duh what do they do? Freakin idiots.
You'd figure they'd at least pick up the PHONE and call their vet to ask about it. Phone calls are free.

Well, do you have 300+ dollars to shell out every time your pet acts weird?
Pets should be taken to the vet when there are severe issues, but sometimes people like to see if theres a simple cure, before hauling their pet off to the vet for everything.
Why do you care that they're asking these questions? At least they're attempting to find out what the problem is and what they could do to make their pets better.
Given the horrible, awful things people do to their pets on a daily basis, I say asking questions about your sick pets on yahoo really isn't too terrible, when you really compare..
Edit- Alot of these people who cant afford to take their pets to the vet got them before the economy was so crappy and people started losing their jobs left and right.
And how do you know they're not asking on a day when the vet is closed, or told them they cant get in for 3 more days?
You dont know the circumstances behind these questions, so why judge? And they're looking for help, they're panicking. Just because they ask a question on here doesn't mean that they dont take their pets to the vet anyway. DOUBLE SIGH!

I know, I probably shouldn't do this, but I just ignore the questions and don't answer. I feel bad for the animals but you have to be an idiot in order to not know a dog that is screaming in pain has something wrong with it. Yahoo! Answers is almost more frustrating than it is rewarding.

I know..
I don't really get it myself...
Maybe they are cheap. Or selfish. Or don't have the cash to go to the vet.. Which makes them idiots, because you don't get a pet unless you can afford to take it to the vet

Instead of freaking out on the web,Why not take it to the vet fast as possible? I totally agree
