When we are very mad with somebody we tend to avoid speaking his/her name.?
We speak of the person as him or her. Is this maybe a remainder of the very ancient belief that taking away some-body's name makes that person non- existent. I.e. the Ancient Egyptians scratched out the names of the ones they hated on their monuments. (Hatchepsut - Achenaton.)
What are your opinions . Thanks.

hi
we don't refer to their name because the brain correlates better when doing so.
thus, negative emotions hit us lighter since not only we don't "remember" their personality that much, but also we get a feeling of self-esteem by reffering to them as nameless (thus "inexistent") persons.
have a nice day

For the most part homosexuality is something you are born with and then start to realize later in life when your hormone levels begin to rise. All though in other people being homosexual can be a choice, because there isn't anything that is stopping someone from choosing to be homosexual if they wish. Just remember that most homosexuals were born that way. Even other animals are homosexual, scientist have seen it in lions, birds, monkey, and other types of animals. Also, even if homosexuality was a choice that doesn't mean that they would then choose to be heterosexual if other people disapproved of their homosexuality. It's not like atheist will become theist just because some theist disapprove of their belief. So all those people who are bashing on the gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered need to leave those people alone everyone has the right to be whatever they want, I don't care if a guy wants to f**K a cat. I really don't do whatever you want as long as your not doing it on my front step or physically harming mean than it doesn't matter.
