I don't want to know your five favorites, I want to know who you think are the 5 best.

Steve Nash, because I like his style of play and feel he is the best passer in the game. He pulls off crazy trick shots many times and its from his days of playing horse with Dirk when they were in Dallas. Steve is so efficient and such a great clutch shooter and steps up in the clutch. I also like how professional he is and how much time he spends doing his charity work.

Chauncey Billups. In my eyes he is the perfect point guard. He starts off the game by getting his team mates involved. Knows who is scorers are and what they can do, spreads the ball around accordingly, and when necessary can take up and become his teams leading scorer. And what sets him above the rest is that he plays defense every possession.

Rajon Rondo. He has great court vision, creates scoring opportunities for his teammates, take it to the basket, create fastbreak points, steal the ball, and put pressure on the ball. He still needs to work on his jump shot and free throws though. Once he can knock down his mid range shots, he will be golden. The reason being is that as of now, defenders back off him and tempt him to take a shot instead of driving into the lane. Once he develops a good shot this is what will happen. If the defender plays too close to him then he will drive right past him with his speed and quickness. If the defender lays off him, then he could just pull up and take a shot. You also have to understand his ability to hustle down rebounds.

Chris Paul is head and shoulders above the rest. He is the best in the NBA at point. He scores as well as Nash and Davis, rebounds well for his size, and is a world class defender. Deron Williams will move up my list as a favorite if he manages not to get swept in a playoff series next year.

Deron Williams, Jazz: Williams is a very good scorer, driver, and passer. He has a low turnover rate. He has a solid mid-range game and is the ultimate finisher at the rim for a point. He's really everything you could ask for in a point guard offensively. He's unselfish, but can get big buckets. He's headstrong and has shown good leadership.
